EBA Faculty Meeting 2025 and
International EBA Symposium
On May 15th and 16th, 2025, the second EBA Faculty Meeting and first International EBA Symposium were held at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
A total of 32 participants from 18 universities and institutions gathered to share recent project outcomes, explore opportunities for more extensive collaboration, and discuss the ongoing development of the EBA Project.
The EBA Faculty Meeting took place on May 15th and morning of May 16th. Discussions focused on topics such as:
- Reporting of recent fieldwork results
- Enhancing EBA fieldwork in areas such as education, content, evaluation, community engagement, and process design
- Identifying relevant themes for future fieldwork
- Evaluation methods for fieldwork programs
- Future directions of the EBA Project
A fieldwork design workshop was also held with participants, encouraging collaborative brainstorming between institutions. Finally, presentations and open discussions about upcoming fieldwork for 2025 and 2026 were conducted.
On the afternoon of May 16th, the International EBA Symposium brought the EBA learning experience closer to the wider audience at Chulalongkorn University. The symposium featured an overview of the EBA program, a firsthand account from a previous participant, and a panel discussion with EBA faculty members who shared visions on how the EBA Project contributes to building a resilient future society. The event concluded with an engaging interactive activity involving the audience.
